Completely transparent, dual antimicrobial silicone post-operative dressing.
Indicated for:
- SurgiClear® is intended to cover and protect wound sites, against external contamination, including post-operative, debrided or partial thickness wounds such as skin graft donor sites, abrasions, lacerations, skin tears, first and second degree burns.
- SurgiClear® can be used to cover and protect wound closure devices (i.e. sutures, staples, clips), orthopedic pins, fixtures and wires as well as drains.
- SurgiClear® may also be used to cover and secure primary dressings.
Dressing Benefits:
- Dual antimicrobial (Chlorhexidine and Silver) protection throughout the entire surface area of the dressing inhibits microbial colonization, kills on average 99.99% of microorganisms, and suppresses regrowth under the dressing for up to 7 days.1
- Completely transparent dressing allows for continuous surgical site assessment without needing to remove it, avoiding site disturbance. This helps to prevent the need for multiple dressing changes that expose the site to external contamination sources.
- Breathable dressing allows for good moisture vapor exchange.
- Silicone adhesive is gentle on delicate skin to minimize skin injury and minimize pain on removal.2
